THE CELEBRATION OF A LEGEND

The story all started on the 27^th of September, 1954. On this fateful day, Dr. David was born to the  family of Mr. and Mrs. Ibrahim Oyedepo in the town called Osogbo in Osun state. He is a native of Omu Aran in Kwara State. His father was a Muslim healer, while his mother by the name, Dorcas, was a member of the Eternal Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, a branch of the Aladura church.

THE ORIGINAL SOURCE

 

Everyone prefares to use a product that is original. No one wants to use the fake of a product. But sometimes, people tend to settle for the fake as long as it looks like the original and most importantly, if it is more affordable than the original.

What happens then when the original of a product is actually cheaper than the fake? Obviously, people will settle for the original and the producers of the fake will run out of business. But won't it be ironical if in spite of it being cheaper and of better quality than the the fake, people still prefare the fake to it? If that's the case, then something is wrong somewhere.

 Hello friends, just came across a heart-breaking story that needs to be shared…

The above picture is that of a 6 Year Old HIV Positive Boy who was forced to live alone in Rural South West, CHINA. Both his parents died of AIDS and the poor child is made to live on his own, doing his own washing, cooking and studying. His 84 year old grandmother planted vegetables for him and visits frequently. She cooks for him, but will not live with the child. Everyone else in his life, including the primary school where he attends also rejected him. His only friend and companion is his dog.

As a Christian, I try to obey the scriptures to the fullest and that includes showing Love to all.
An incident happened on a certain day that made me to think deeply on this issue called 'Love'. I think as good people of God, we should Love with wisdom so as not to fall prey to the tactics of the devil. The bible says we should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil.

This is my story: After church service one Sunday, I was driving out of the church premises when I noticed some persons standing under the hot sun waiting for a taxi. From their appearance you could tell they have been under the scotching sun for long. As a good-hearted fellow, I decided to give them a lift(both male and female). After all, we are church members(so I thought).

The mistake most people make is thinking that their happiness lies in the hands of others. And for that reason they depend solely on the acceptance or rejection of others. 

LOVE

 The word 'LOVE' is a broad subject that covers virtually every area of life.

It is a strong feeling of deep affection for somebody/something. It is also a feeling of warm personal attachment for a person, child or friend. It is having a deep sense of respect towards our fellow human beings. It is a responsibility we owe ourselves, our fellow human beings as well as the environment we live in.
